After being on the road since December 9, 2010, the exhibition tour completed its last stop in Singapore. The vernissage took place on June 8 at One raffles quay private space - a newly founded art space at the centre of the business district and the new Marina Bay area. The Singapore exhibition exclusive opening night welcomed over 70 special guests including Hong Kong artist Simon Wan Chi Chung, art experts of Singapore and clients. A sincere thank you to all our guests for their attendance and support. Following the opening speech by Mr Maurice Nhan (SG Corporate & Investment Banking Chief Country Officer South East Asia), we were pleased to have young musician Dr Samuel Wong for a solo pipa performance to celebrate the official opening with a modern improvisation of the traditional pipa music. Public exhibition followed from 9 – 15 June. This was final showing of the 2010 tour, which also concluded the 2010 Societe Generale Chinese Art Awards. Stay tuned for the 2011 SG Chinese Art Awards in July. Your feedback is valuable so please forward them to sg-chineseart@socgen.com
